Yoram Binur is the correspondent for IsraelÂs Channel 2 television
service, covering Palestinian affairs.
He is the author of ÂMy Enemy, MyselfÂ. PublisherÂs weekly notes
that ÂTo find out how Arabs undergo daily life in Israel and the
occupied territories, Israeli journalist Binur adopted the clothes and
manners of a Palestinian Arab for six months. ÂHis odyssey is
especially revealing in its visceral portrayal of how Arabs experience
discrimination and intolerance as second-class citizens or outcasts.Â
A seven-member CNI-led observer mission to the Palestinian Legislative Council
elections on January 25th, 2006 including Ambassadors Edward Peck and Robert Keeley, included stays in all five neighboring countries: Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. The delegation met with top government
officials and leading opposition figures in Palestine and neighboring Arab countries to assess the accelerated development of democratic institutions and their impact on U.S. long-term interests in the region.

I cannot believe that this man has not won the pulitzer prize!I thank God every day,for people like him,and for letting me see the world as it really is.In America,I as an American,I only see what the western press wants me to see.Americans do not get the full picture. What a shame, for us as a people and for the world. After reading this book,I pray every day for the Palistian and Isreali peoples to live in peace.Thank You,Mr. Binur for putting a human face on this situation.
